This is the first posting on my new blog! This blog is dedicated to the discussion of training our next generation of machine tool professionals! Though the outlook is not great when you consider how few young people are entering our industry, we must not lose hope, there are ways to train people to be able to grow your business!

- I am a journeyman CNC Machinist, with a bachelors in Education. I was a teacher for two years at botht the high-school and college levels. I currently work in the Manufacturing industry as a Training Coordinator.

I read that we are outsourcing all these kind of jobs, but then I read that employers cannot find qualified people?
